This page explains how to upgrade the app and use its various features to support your learning journey.
App Upgrades
To access certain content (marked with “Member” or “Mail Member” tags), you will need to unlock additional features using one of the following methods.
Note for Trilingual Tomi Students: If you are currently enrolled in a Trilingual Tomi course, you can access paid content using the specific method provided to you separately. No additional upgrade is necessary.
1. Paid Upgrade (Full Access)
If you want to use all the features of Korean Jump, please follow these steps:

Tap the three-line menu icon in the top-right corner of the app.

Tap “Upgrade” and complete your purchase.

Once finished, you will have full access to both “Member” and “Mail Member” content.

2. Campaign Code (Free Access to “Mail Member” Content)
To unlock “Mail Member” content for free, you will need an 8-digit campaign code.

How to get the code: Register for our mail magazine and complete the survey according to the instructions.

For existing mail magazine members: Open “Mail Registration Bonus” page. Your code is listed at the bottom of the page that appears.
How to enter the code: Once you have your code, click the link below to enter it. Important: Please make sure to enter the code using the smartphone where the app is installed.
How to Use the App
Home Screen
The Home Screen features five learning categories: Video, Vocab, Grammar, Reading, and Shadowing.

Navigation: You can find these same categories at the bottom of the screen for quick one-tap access.

Menu: The three-line icon in the top-right corner allows you to enter campaign codes or perform upgrades.
📺 Video
The Video section is organized by purpose and level.

General: Includes app tutorials and introductory materials.

Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced: Content tailored to each proficiency level.

Note: Some content may link to external sites like YouTube.
🔤 Vocab & Grammar
Vocabulary is organized into folders by level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced). Each folder is further divided into sets of 40–50 words.

Flashcard Screen: Tap the center card to flip between Korean and Japanese.

Audio: Tap the speaker icon in the bottom-left of the card to hear the pronunciation.

Navigation: Swipe left for the next word and right for the previous one. You can also use the arrow buttons or the slider bar at the bottom.

Marking: Use the “Unmemorized” (未暗記) and “Memorized” (暗記) buttons to track your progress.

List View: Tap “List” (一覧) in the bottom-right to see all words in the folder.

Settings: * Display Settings (top-left): Change card order (random), flip sides, filter cards, or adjust text size.

Audio Settings (top-right): Adjust playback range, intervals, repeat settings, and speed. Tap the play button to listen to all words in the folder automatically.

The Grammar section works exactly the same way as Vocab.
📖 Reading (Extensive Reading)
This section contains folders for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.

CPM (Characters Per Minute): Next to the “All” tab, you will see numbers representing the audio speed (difficulty).

CPM 100: 100 characters per minute.

Benchmarks: Beginner Master (CPM 200), Intermediate Master (CPM 300), Native Level (CPM 400+).

Article Screen: Swipe up to read long texts.

Display Modes: Tap the circle icon (bottom-left) to toggle between:

Korean only

Parallel (Korean & Japanese)

Hidden

Audio Controls: Use the play button to start audio. Use the “5” icons to skip forward or backward by 5 seconds.

Settings: Tap the gear icon (top-right) to adjust playback speed, toggle repeat, or change text size.

Resume Learning: Your last accessed article will appear at the top of the Reading home page for easy access.
🎙️ Shadowing
Shadowing functions similarly to the Reading section but includes a Recording feature.

Modes: Switch between Practice Mode (text displayed) and Recording Mode (text hidden automatically).

How to Record: In Recording Mode, tap the “Record” button. The model audio will play, and recording will start simultaneously.

Crucial: Always use earphones when recording to avoid capturing the model audio in your own file.

After Recording: * Share: Send your recording via share function.
-
Review: Listen to your recorded audio.

History: Access previous recordings via “Recording History” at the top of the Shadowing page. Tap the three dots to delete or share files.
