Self-introduction
안녕하세요 여러분, 저는 레아입니다.
필리핀에 살고 있고, 열아홉 살이고 한국어 공부를 좋아합니다.
만나서 반갑습니다.
The reason why I started taking the Fast Korean course
What made you decide to learn Korean?
Being exposed to K-pop and K-drama at a young age inspired me to learn Korean.
I wanted not only to understand every lyric and dialogue, but also because I hope that someday, when I travel or study in South Korea, I will be able to communicate effectively with the locals.
Before taking my Fast Korean course, what was your Korean level?
Before taking the program, I only knew a few familiar words and phrases I often heard, and I barely understood anything.
However, after finishing the Fast Korean program, I can now understand a few sentences and can communicate in basic conversation.
What struggles did you have? How were you studying at the time?
My struggles were memorizing vocabulary and not knowing what to prioritize when studying.
I use an application that really helps me a lot, it’s called Wordholic, to test my memories in terms of vocabulary I memorized within the day.
Why did you decide to take the course?
I actually started learning Korean a few years ago, but I stayed at a very basic level for a long time and didn’t know where to start or how to move forward.
That is why I am happy to be part of this program with a fluent teacher who will guide me, and why I am confident that this program will help me a lot in my journey learning Korean.
After enrolling, how many months did it take to see results, and what kind of results did you achieve?
I would say that within two months, by continuing to watch Korean content online.
I started to understand what people were saying.
I could really feel that I was achieving the results I wanted—being able to understand basic conversations—just a few months after enrolling in the program.
What made the difference in your progress, and what aspects of my coaching service did you find most helpful?
It has improved my skills a lot—not only my vocabulary memorization, but also my reading and listening abilities.
What I like most about the Fast Korean program is that I am learning with proper guidance.
Whenever I have a question, I know there is a reliable person who can help me.
Because of that, I no longer have to spend a long time searching online just to find the information I need.
If you hadn’t taken the Fast Korean Coaching course, what do you think you would be doing now?
I think I would still be stuck at the same level in learning Korean, feeling confused about which topics and skills I should prioritize, and not making much progress.
I would also still be relying on various websites, spending a lot of time gathering information and writing down notes on my own.
Your future plans for learning Korean and your ultimate goal
My goal is to become more fluent in speaking Korean because I can visualize myself living in South Korea someday, fulfilling my dreams, and meeting a lot of Korean friends who also love Philippine Culture.

안녕하세요 여러분.
If you also want to learn Hangul like I did, I highly recommend Miss Tammy’s YouTube channel, “Tammy Korean.”
I also want to say that learning a language is not as easy as it may seem.
That’s why it’s important to stay motivated and be ready to face challenges along the way.
And always remember—if you truly do your best, it will be worth it in the end.
