This time, I would like to explain the most significant part of the intermediate Korean course series: The Final Exam!
If you have been learning Korean through my courses, you have studied approximately 120 videos, including the preparatory, beginner, and intermediate levels.
WOW! That is a tremendous amount of information!
I know you want to organize what you have learned so far and check your Korean level.
That’s why I made this final exam.
Upon passing the exam, you will receive a certificate of completion for the intermediate level. Here, you will find detailed information on how to take the exam, the criteria for passing, and the process for issuing the certificate.
Essentially, the process is similar to the final exam for the beginner level; however, reviewing all the information here will help you proceed more smoothly. OK?

Contents of the final exam
The Intermediate Final Exam is designed to be a miniature version of TOPIK II, level 4. It consists of 20 listening questions and 20 reading questions. Two main features distinguish it from previous grammar tests.
Feature 1: There is a listening test
It includes image selection questions, similar to TOPIK. You will be asked to demonstrate your understanding of Korean words not only as written text but also in the context of situations and scenes.
Feature 2: There is a passing criterion.
As this is an exam, there are pass/fail criteria. The passing criterion is 90% or higher. Since each question is worth the same, you must answer at least 36 out of 40 questions correctly to pass. However, if you do not pass on the first attempt, you may try again until you succeed.
So, never ever give up on this exam！
The exam has a 60-minute time limit. Although there is no automatic time-tracking system, you are responsible for monitoring your own time. Please refrain from referring to textbooks or using online translators during the exam. Try to solve the problems on your own.
How to take the final exam
We will explain how to take the actual exam.
Create an account
To take the final exam and receive a certificate of completion, you will need to register for an account on the “Tammy Korean” website. You can Google “Tammy Korean” as well. If you do not register, you will not be able to receive a grade or certificate.
To register, go to My Page. You can see it from the description page. Or you can type this one.
Enter your email address, password, name, and agree to the Privacy Policy. Then you click the “Submit.”
For your information, the “Name” you entered here will appear on your certificate later when you pass the final exam.
Once registered, you can log in using your email and password.
My Page
After logging in, you will see your My Page. You can change your account information here. If you forget your password, you can reset it from here.
When you are ready to take the final exam, you click on “Start Intermediate Final Exam” to access the exam page.
Final Exam Description Page
Click “Intermediate Final Exam” to enable grading and certificate issuance. Then, review the instructions and click “Take the intermediate final exam” to begin. Start your 60-minute timer at the same time.
Exam Page
The exam page displays 40 questions and answer choices. To listen to questions, press the play button to start the audio. Read the questions carefully and select the correct answers. Unlike TOPIK, you can listen to the audio as many times as needed.
After completing all 40 questions, click “Grade” to receive your grade and English translations of the questions. Click Back to “Intermediate Final Exam” to leave the exam page. If you do not pass, you can click “Restart Quiz” to try again. You can also click “Save Progress” to save your progress and resume later.
Certificate of Completion
If you pass the exam, you can view your certificate of completion from My Page by clicking “View Certificate.”
